GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Technician 2 – Office Sanitation position plays a key role in maintaining the farm offices and housing areas in a clean manner. This position is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing farm offices and employee housing.
I. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Responsible for cleaning farm offices every other day.
• Responsible for cleaning Carleton house on a weekly basis and after employee departure.
• Responsible for cleaning housing units occupied by H2A after their departure.
• Responsible for sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Responsible for dusting and polishing surfaces and furniture.
• Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, including toilets, sinks and counters.
• Responsible for disinfecting high-tough surfaces (workstations, doorknobs).
• Responsible for emptying trash and recycling bins.
• Responsible for cleaning window and glass surfaces.
• Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of common.
• Adhere to all employee company policies and food safety requirements.
• All other tasks as needed.
II. QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
• Must have experience cleaning offices/housing areas.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
• Strong work ethic.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
III. PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT/WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, stop and bend for long periods of time.
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work with cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Must be able to work in severe weather conditions-both heat and cold.
This role is seasonal and runs through the farming season (March - November).
